Dr. Kevin Keough, host of the Warrior Traditions and North Star Guardians podcast, interviews Mr. Jaime Buckley, creator of WANTED:HERO comics.
Jaime Buckley: President of WANTED:HERO STUDIOS, Creator, Artist, Writer, World of Warcraft Hunter (level 80 baby!), Chicken Rancher, Podcaster, Promoter, Father of 10 & Chore Hitler.
Jaime has been an “professional” artist for over 25 years, which started in shopping malls in California, where he would do caricatures of young couples and then sell them for $4 each. That is, until he finally got caught.
Born in Oakland, California, Jaime’s life was filled with violence, anger and mishap. Fortunately, he was loved by his parents and siblings and had a good, calm home to escape from the pains of the world. The drawing started vigorously at age 2…and never stopped. At age 15, he created a comic strip character ‘Chester’, which became two self-published works, selling more than 25,000 copies each (Chester: The End of Life as We Know It & Chester: Just Hand Me The Remote). Many copies were donated to libraries…but they kept getting stolen.
Jaime is also Co-Founder of The Jubilee Project, a special company dedicated to helping families get out of debt in record time, specifically the accelerated payoff of their mortgages. Jubilee has also moved services into Canada, to help families there. Jaime’s focus has always been on other people, the encouragement of the human spirit, and creating a better tomorrow, full of dreams, hope and love. Visit his website.
